A set of FOUR Antique French Transferware Plates. Société Amandinoise "IRIS" design. The "inky green" floral motif goes all the way around the plate, so it looks fabulous from every angle!
Each plate measures 23.5cms/ 9¼" diameter, they are deep sided too, 4cms/ 1½" and each weighs 400gms/ 14ozs.
Each plate has the "IRIS"," Ste Amandinoise, Terre de Fer" mark on the underside. In excellent, antique condition, with no chips or cracks. Authentic and "aged to prerfection", they have plenty of aged "hairline crackle," surface scratches, discoloration and staining, consistent with their antique age.
Perfect for displays or to use for special occasions. They would need to be used with respect for their age and condition.
