Each plate is divided into five sections (four smaller segments for different spices/sauces and one larger well for the cubed meat or cheese), they stack neatly on top of each other for storage.
They are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
The plates all have the 'L'Hirondelle, Porcelaine' (the 'Swallow' Porcelain manufacturer based in Mehun sur Yèvre, France) mark on the undersides.
They each measure 25cms/ 9¾" diameter. and weigh 600gms/1.3lbs!
