This is a set of SIX gorgeous little Avocado dishes. Ideal for serving your entrée/hors d'oeuvre (starter) course at dinner parties. They are excellent dishes in which to serve tapas and canapés too. In a classic mid century design, fresh, bold, funky and fun, once you have finished eating and the dishes are empty they still look wonderful sitting on the table with the design at the bottom. They are really unusual and stylish. A great talking point at the dinner table.
All in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. They have the word "L'avocat" (French for Avocado) written above the motif. The dishes measure 18cms/7" long, to the point, 10cm/4", at their widest, and they are 3cms/ 1" deep. They each weigh 175gms/ 6ozs, and stack neatly inside each other for ease of storage. Just one of the dishes has some slight "wear" to the motif, I have shown this in the last photograph for you, it is barely detectable and in no way detracts from the beauty or functionality of these fabulous dishes.
They all have the "'L'Hirondelle, Porcelaine" (the "Swallow" Porcelain manufacturer based in Mehun sur Yèvre, France) mark on the undersides.
