They all have a delicate gilt "line" edge border and filigree "lace" pattern. They measure 24cms (9½") diameter. They each weigh 400gms (14ozs)
There are four different designs illustrating various fish swimming amongst water weeds. The colours are muted, subtle greens, browns and yellows. The fish are accurately represented, dynamic in movement, with gorgeous detailing on the heads, fins and tails.
The plates are all in excellent condition, with no chips, scratches or cracks, they are marked "Au Père Fragile, Angoulême" on the undersides.
