A vintage French wooden polished turned hardwood pedestal. Plant stand. A darkly varnished wooden pot stand. It is solid, sturdy and super stylish. Perfect for hallways/entryways and library/reading rooms. It stands 46cms/ 18" tall. The base is 25cms/ 9¾" diameter. The top is 26cms/ 10¼" diameter. It weighs 2.8kgs/ 6.2 lbs. It is a genuine vintage item and therefore has some surface scratches/scapes from years of genuine use. The varnish has signs of "wear" and is slightly "rough" in places, with aged "glaze crackle", adding extra authenticity and charm. It does not detract in any way from it's beauty or functionality. It has many, many years of service yet to offer. A wonderful, unusual stand from a "by-gone" era!
