These dinner plates have a wide border and a fluted, gilt 'line', ribbed edge.
The plates measure 25cms / 9¾" diameter and each weighs 450gms / 1 lb.
There are four different designs illustrating various fish swimming amongst reeds and seashells.
The colors and details of the illustrations are incredibly accurate and realistic.
They are all in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. All have the 'Longchamp' France mark on the undersides.
There is some, very slight, wear to the gilding on a couple of the plates, which is to be expected with the age of this set, and does not in any way detract from their beauty or functionality. They have many years of service yet to offer.
