This is an exceptionally beautiful Limoges porcelain sauce boat with a fixed under plate, beneath the bowl, to gracefully catch any spills.

This would look wonderful as a table centerpiece at dinner parties. It is elegantly shaped with a smooth, flowing lip and delicate flowers all the way around, so it looks lovely from every angle.

If you collect French porcelain for an antique table scape then this would make a stunning centerpiece for a fragrant bouquet.

It is marked 'M-Fres' Limoges, made in France' on the underside, the mark dates from between 1911 - 1950 and indicates it was made at the 'Michelaud Frères' porcelain makers in Limoges.

It is in fabulous condition with no chips or cracks at all.
There is one slight 'rough spot' at the lip from a microscopic 'nick' that is not noticeable at normal viewing distance and in no way detracts from the beauty and functionality of this fabulous item.

It measures 23cms /9" long x 15cms/6" wide x 9cms/3½" deep.
It weighs 600gms/ 1.3lbs.
