This is a quality, vintage, ham holder from the world famous 'Montage Noire' Charcuterie in South West France. Montagne Noire was the first French company to receive the Label Rouge for its dried sausages and has been producing world famous dried charcuterie since 1933.

A sturdy ham holder, such as this one, is essential for slicing a whole Spanish cured ham, whole Serrano, Italian Prosciutto, Jambon de Bayonne or Ibérico ham. It is an essential tool for carving these quality hams properly.
It is a 'must have' for ham connoisseurs.

This stand has the logo 'MONTAGNE NOIRE' (Black Mountain) burned into the wood base board.
It folds easily for transportation and storage.

In excellent condition, just a few light surface scratches, consistent with use. It has many years of service yet to offer.
