This is an enormous and beautiful vintage French fish serving platter measuring a huge 90cms/ 35½" x 26cms/10¼".
It weighs 1.1kgs/2.4lbs.

This would make an ideal table centrepiece for serving a beautifully prepared Salmon or Trout. It would also be a wonderful party or buffet piece, for serving stylish canapés and nibbles, to add elegance to your setting.
The head and tail are exquisitely detailed with sculpted gills, fins and scales.
It is ideal for large catering events such as weddings, banquets and big family gatherings. It looks so impressively stunning it will be a real 'talking point'.

It is in great condition, there are a few light surface scratches, consistent with use, but absolutely no dents at all. It will be good for many fishes to come. It has some slight discoloration on the base of the underside.
