A real statement piece, proudly holding her Olympic style torch aloft, unusually her feet are flat to the plinth, rather than 'tip-toed' like so many statues from this era.
Whilst having no makers mark she is probably French, in the style of Le Verrier, and dates from the late 1920's, early 1930's.

Spelter cast metal standing on an onyx marble plinth.
She's heavy, weighing 2.6kgs/5.7lbs.
Very rare and collectible she stands 65cms/25½" tall (including the shade.)
She is currently fitted with a French electrical plug, which can be modified to any countries electrical requirements, as the base has an 'access hole' for re-wiring. She has a bayonet light bulb fitting.
There is almost no damage, some slight age wear to the patina, most noticeable on her left hand and chest, but this simply adds to her allure.
She is simply stunning.
