TEN PASTIS 51 Glasses and Carafe.

A set of TEN PASTIS 51 Glasses and PASTIS 51 water carafe. A mix and match set.

These are 100% authentic pieces of French Café Chic. Made in France, advertising the famous Pastis 51. They are becoming increasingly rare and difficult to find.

All in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
There are six matching glasses, with the collectible "man in a straw boater hat" design and one with the traditional "Pastis 51" logo that stand 11.5cms/ 4½" tall. They are 6cms/ 2¼" diameter at the top and 4cms/ 1½" diameter at the bottom - Elegantly tapered. They are weighted at the base with "chunky bottoms" which make them more difficult to knock over on a bar!
One slightly smaller traditional "Pastis 51" logo glass, standing 10cms/4" tall x 5cms/ 2"diameter, at the top, and 3.5cms/ 1¼" diameter, at the bottom.
There are two glasses that have the "51 band" around the middle and towards the top, measuring 12.5cms tall/5" x 6cms/ 2¼" diameter, at the top, and 4cms/ 1½" diameter, at the bottom.

The Water Carafe holds 50cls of water (1 US Pint).
It Measures 18cms/7" high, 9cms/ 3½" wide and is 5.5cms/2" deep.
We recently found an ashtray to match, so we will send this with the set, as an added extra.

Altogether this set weighs 3.2kgs/ 7 lbs.

'Pastis 51' is France's no.3 spirit. Pastis 51 is the authentic pastis created and produced in Marseille, an anise-flavoured spirit and apéritif. It is normally diluted with water before drinking, generally five volumes of water for one volume of pastis, the neat pastis is served in the glass together with a carafe of water for the drinker to blend together according to preference.
