Lunéville Faience is one of the most famous French pottery manufacturers. It has been located in Lunéville, Lorraine, France since 1730 and is very collectible. This Lunéville K & G (Keller et Guérin) mark dates from 1923 onwards.
In amazing condition, with no chips or cracks. Their fluted, gilt edges are perfect, with almost no "wear" to the gilding. These plates are at least 70 years old and so have the slightest beginnings of "hairline" crackle to the glazes, which is desirable and in no way detracts from the beauty or quality of these gorgeous old plates.
