They all have a delicate gilt "line" edge border and filigree "lace" pattern. They measure 22cms (8½") diameter. They each weigh 400gms (14ozs)
There are four different designs illustrating various pairs of fish swimming amongst water weeds. The colours are muted, subtle greens and grey/blues. The fish are accurately represented, dynamic in movement, with gorgeous detailing on the heads, fins and tails.
The plates are all in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, they are marked "Limoges, France" on the undersides.
