A set of four, professional quality, rare and collectible, copper kitchen utensils with riveted iron handles. All stamped with the "Havard Villedieu" copper makers mark. The set consists of a Ladle, Spoon, Strainer and Two-Pronged Fork, each with a hanging hole at the end of the handle. In amazing vintage condition, the ladle has a very tiny "dint" in the bowl, apart from that there are no dents at all. As with all vintage copper, they have some discoloration, and light, surface scratches, consistent with use, and signs of verdigris in the grooves and indentations. "Aged to perfection", with the perfect amount of "wear" essential for authenticity in styling!
Altogether they weigh 1kg/ 2.2lbs.
The fork measures 32cms/ 12½" long. The large, flat circular strainer measures 34cms/ 13¼" long, the "holed stainer" is 12cms/ 4¾" diameter. The ladle is 31cms/ 12¼" long, the bowl is 10cms/ 4" diameter x 5cms/ 2" deep. The spoon is 32cms/ 12½" long.
Truly stunning, these would look fabulous displayed in any farmhouse/country kitchen.
*Please note I am selling these copper utensils as decorative items for farmhouse and country kitchens, I cannot guarantee their use as cookware, as I have no experience of cooking with copper and cannot offer advice on this.
