A set of five, French copper pans with iron handles. Ideal for hanging above large country kitchen fireplaces or from rustic beams in converted barn kitchens these pans are the ultimate farmhouse styling accessories. They have a genuine, authentic patina from "by-gone" times and ooze style.
These pans are old copper, beautiful to display. They are heavy, weighing 3.8kgs / 8.37 lbs altogether.
They have not been cleaned, as we love the vintage, "aged to perfection" look that the tarnished copper has for authenticity. Please take a good look at the photos, as the pans are in vintage, condition. There are some surface scratches and tarnish marks, consistent with their age and use. They have "dings" and mild "dints", and are slightly mis-shaped at the rims. Irresistibly authentic, utterly charming!
The linings are very worn, and scratched, consistent with use. One or two of the handles are slightly more curved than others.
As with all vintage copper, they have signs of verdigris in the grooves and indentations, around the handles on the outside, adding to their "rustic charm".
The largest pan measures 18cms/ 7" diameter and is 9.5cms/ 3¾" deep (34cms/ 13½" long to the handle.) Second pan is 16cms/ 6¼" diameter and is 9cms/ 3½" deep (32cms/ 12½" long to the handle.) Third pan is 15cms/ 6" diameter x 8cms/ 3¼" deep (30cms/ 11¾" long to the handle.) Fourth pan is 14.5cms/ 5¾" diameter x 8cms/ 3¼" deep (28.5cms/ 11¼" long to the handle.) Fifth Pan is 13.5cms/ 5" diameter and is 7cms/ 2¾" deep (28cms/ 11" long to the handle.) They are 1mm thick.
