This set of five French porcelain fish plates are the perfect gift for anglers. They are very collectible and an ideal gift for fish chefs. Perfect for fish lovers the world over these would make a truly original present for anyone who loves fishing and cooking fish.

They all have a tactile, fluted, edge, with a delicate gilt 'line', wide border and filigree pattern. They measure 24cms (9½") diameter.
They each weigh 400gms (14 ozs)

There are five different designs illustrating various pairs of freshwater fish swimming amongst water weeds in lakes/rivers. The colours are muted, subtle greens and grey/blues. The fish are accurately represented, dynamic in movement, with gorgeous detailing on the heads, fins and tails.

The plates are all in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, and have the 'Porcelaine de la ville du bois' mark on the undersides.
