Rare 'Rémy Red' Cognac Ice Bucket. Limited Edition Rémy Martin Barware.

This fabulous ice bucket is a collectors piece, as 'Rémy Red' has been discontinued for a number of years. It is made of thick plastic, but looks like 'frosted glass' so is very practical as it cannot be damaged if knocked over.

The plastic is a chunky 7mm/0.3" thick, designed to keep the ice from melting too quickly and is smooth on the inside.
This type of ice bucket makes a stylish candle table lantern, perfect for outdoor garden parties. It makes the perfect table decoration, interesting and chic. I've styled it this way in the photos to give you a 'feel' for how it looks as a table decoration, festive and warm.

The 'Rémy Martin - Fine Champagne Cognac' Logo appears on both sides. The Centaur (Centaurs are half-human, half-horse creatures in Greek mythology) can be seen from the inside of the ice bucket too, as he is a raised motif and so has a 3D effect. 

'Rémy Red' was a liqueur made from fruit juices & a touch of Rémy Martin Cognac. Red Berry was a luscious, fruity fusion of red berries, peaches and apricots blended together with a touch of Remy Martin Cognac. Since it is best served 'on the rocks' this Ice Bucket was given to bars, cafés and bistros in France as an advertising promotional by the famous Rémy Martin cognac house.

Instantly recognisable it will sit stylishly with your collection of French modern collectibles in your kitchen or bar.

It is 13cms/5" diameter and 13cms/5" tall. It weighs 700gms/1.5lbs

It has obviously seen some action in a French bistro or bar!.........There are a couple of 'wear and tear scratches' to the bottom, as would be expected with use.
