A vintage Dutch transferware plate, marked "Made in Holland, Royal Sphinx Maastricht Balmoral, Detergent Proof."
The pattern covers all of the plate, so it looks fabulous from every angle!
In amazing condition, with no chips or cracks. It has one small spot of discoloration on the underside bottom foot lip (see photos), apart from that it is in perfect condition, with no crackling or staining.
Perfect for displays or to use for special occasions.
It measures 23.5cms/ 9¼" diameter and weighs 460gms/ 1.1lbs.
