Pair of Bronze Wall Light/ Sconces

This pair of elegant, ornate, French bronze wall light sconces will add a touch of "Rococo/Baroque" style to any period home.
In excellent vintage condition, the bronze has some signs of natural tarnishing and its patina is darker in some areas than others, giving the look and feel of stylish early 19th century "French Empire" interiors. Each sconce has two fixed arms with sockets for candle-shaped, screw fitting bulbs. Each branch terminates in a bronze drip tray, with the original imitation "dripping" candle covers that slide on and off of the stems easily. The candle drips are amazing replicas of wax candles with a real "wax feel", in great vintage condition. One of the fittings "leans" in more than the others, which makes it look like a real dripping candle!

These lights are wired with the original vintage wiring. They are both in full working order, the last photos show them illuminated, in full working order, complete with "candle" bulbs.

The lights fix securely to the wall, through a bar in the back plate.
The drop measures 26ms/ 10¼" (full length of the back plate.)
They are 15cms/ 6" at their deepest.
They are 32cms/ 12 ½ at their widest and weigh 1kg/ 2.2lbs each.
