Long, French, Wicker Baguette Basket. Vintage Boulangerie Décor.

A gorgeous vintage, extra long, French "Baguette" basket, designed for the standard size version of the French Baguette it is both pretty and practical for storing and serving bread.

Full of character and rustic charm it would look great displayed in a traditional farmhouse kitchen or in a vintage tea room.

In great condition with but no broken strands and no obvious major damage to the wicker. It has years of life left in it!

It carries with it the look and feel of a "by-gone" era when every French Boulangerie had a myriad of these wonderful baskets filled with baguettes on a daily basis.

It is huge, measuring 73cms/ 28¾" long x 15cms/ 6" wide and is 8cms/ 3¼" deep and weighs 600gms/ 1.3 lbs.
