Huge, Antique, Hand Hammered, Heavy, Professional, Copper Casserole Pan.

An enormous, antique, heavy, deep, French copper, double handled, stockpot/casserole pan/jam pan.
Very collectible and sought after.
It has obviously seen years of service in professional kitchens and is now ideal for hanging in large country kitchen fireplaces or from rustic beams in converted barn kitchens. The ultimate farmhouse styling accessory.
The copper is textured and has a genuine, authentic patina from "by-gone" times and oozes style.

This pot is really heavy, weighing 3.6kgs/ 8lbs, and is 3mm thick, so could be re-tinned.
It measures 30cms/ 11¾" diameter and is 15cms/ 6" deep. It measures 40cms/ 15¾" wide, to the handles.

I've not tried to clean it up, as I love the vintage, "aged to perfection" look that the tarnished copper has for authenticity.
You can see from the photos that the pan is in great vintage condition. It has some dents around the base edge. The lining is very worn, consistent with use, and scratched, which enhances its "rustic charm". As with all vintage copper it has signs of verdigris in the grooves and indentions.
Please do take a really good look at the photos as there are surface scratches and marks.

*Please note I am selling this copper casserole pan as a decorative item for farmhouse and country kitchens, I cannot guarantee its use as cookware or that it can be re-tinned, as I have no experience of cooking with copper, or re-tinning processes, and cannot offer any advice on this.
