You will receive exactly this set.
Altogether these five plates/dishes weigh 2kgs/ 4.4 lbs.
There is one large, deep bowl, measuring 24.5cms/ 9½" diameter x 4.5cms/ 1¾" deep.
One medium dinner plate, measuring 24cms/ 9½" diameter.
One salad/side plate measuring 20.5cms/ 8" diameter. It is stamped "Churchill, England" on the underside.
One tea/dessert plate measuring 18.5cms/ 7¼" diameter. It is marked 'Lunéville". Lunéville Faience is one of the most famous French pottery manufacturers. It has been located in Lunéville, Lorraine, France since 1730 and is very collectible. This Lunéville K & G (Keller et Guerin) mark dates from 1923 onwards.
One small bowl measuring 15.5cms/ 6" diameter x 4cms/ 1½" deep. It is stamped "Churchill, England" on the underside.
They are all in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. There is the faintest beginnings of ageing "hairline crackle" to the glazes, which is to be expected with the age of this set and desirable for authenticity in styling. The crackle does not in any way detract from their beauty or functionality; and in fact adds to the charm and "aged to perfection" look of these gorgeous items.
