Five, Heavy, Professional Quality, "LE CELLIER, VILLEDIEU" Copper Pans.

This is a lovely, vintage, set of five, lined, French copper pans with iron handles. Together they weigh a huge 7.5kgs/ 16.5 lbs!
Professional quality, they are 2mm thick. There are four saucepans and a skillet/sauté pan.
All five are stamped with the "Le Cellier", "Villedieu" mark.
Ideal for hanging above large country kitchen fireplaces or from rustic beams in converted barn kitchens these pans are the ultimate farmhouse styling accessories.
They have a genuine, authentic patina from "by-gone" times and ooze style.

I've not tried to clean them up, as I love the vintage, "aged to perfection" look that the tarnished copper has for authenticity. You can see from the photos that the pans are in amazing condition, they have surface scratches and tarnish marks, consistent with their age and use. The saucepans have no dents, the skillet has a dent in the base. The linings have some signs of wear, from years of genuine use in French kitchens. Please take a good look at the photos.

As with all vintage copper, they have signs of verdigris in the grooves and indentations, around the handles on the outside, adding to their "rustic charm".

The skillet pan measures 28.5cms/ 11¼" diameter and is 5cms/ 2" deep (52cms/ 20½" long to the handle.)

The largest saucepan measures 20.5cms/ 8" diameter x 10.5cms/ 4¼" deep (40cms/ 15¾" long to the handle.)
Second pan is 18.5cms / 7¼" diameter x 9.5cms/ 3¾" deep (36cms/ 14" long to the handle.)
Third pan is 16.5cms/ 6½" diameter x 8.5cms/ 3¼" deep (32cms/ 12½" long to the handle.)"
Smallest pan is 14.5cms/ 5¾" diameter and is 7.5cms/ 3" deep (26cms/ 10¼" long to the handle.)

These copper pans are very collectible and sought after.
*Please note I am selling these copper pans as a decorative items for farmhouse and country kitchens, I cannot guarantee their use as cookware or that they can be re-tinned, as I have no experience of cooking with copper, or re-tinning processes, and cannot offer any advice on this.
