EIGHT Mix and Match Blue and White Transferware Plates.

This is a set of eight mismatched blue and white transferware plates and bowls. A one-off curated collection, perfect for displaying on a country cottage dresser or for weddings and vintage tea parties.

Each pattern is different, each is equally as lovely. These look absolutely charming when layering on top of each other.
You will receive exactly this set of plates/dishes.

This collection weighs 3.2kgs/ 7 lbs altogether.
There is one large dinner plate measuring 25.5cms/ 10" diameter by "N.F. Fontebasso Italy." The design is a "Swiss Landscape." It was produced between 1950 - 1980.
One large, shallow, bowl measuring 23.5cms/ 9¼" diameter x 3cms/1" deep, marked "Porcelaine, Pyroblan, B.P"
One large "Gien, France" bowl, measuring 22cms/ 8½" diameter x 3.5cms/ 1¼" deep.
One medium bowl, measuring 22cms/ 8½" x 4cms/ 1½" deep, marked "Quadrifoglio, Made in Italy".
One small dinner plate measuring 20.5cms/ 8" diameter. It is from the "Blue Fruit" range by Wood & Sons, England.
One dessert plate measuring 20cms/ 7¾" diameter.
Two tea/side plates measuring 18.5cms/ 7¼" diameter (marked Lunéville K & G (Keller et Guerin)) & 17.5cms/ 6¾" diameter.

They are all in excellent condition, with no chips. They may have the beginnings of some slight ageing "hairline crackle" to the glazes, and some mild discoloration, which is to be expected with the age of these plates and is desirable for that "antique" look and feel, adding to their authenticity and charm. The "Gien" bowl has a small edge nibble, on the underside.
