Eight French 1960s Oyster Plates. Seafood Plates for Coastal Dining.

A set of eight oyster plates, perfect for coastal dining.
Each one has been individually sprayed glazed, so each one is completely unique and original.

Dating from the 1960's they have a white "foam" surface glaze layer that contrasts beautifully with the warm, "lightly speckled" beige coloured background. They are fascinating to look at.
Each plate has seven "wells", the central one being "lemon" shaped, where you stylishly serve your lemon ready for squeezing onto the oysters. They could also be used for scallops.

They are all in amazing condition, with no chips or cracks. They measure 25cms/ 9 ¾" diameter and each one weighs 600gms/1.3 lbs.
