This is a gorgeous set of vintage dressing room accessories. Perfect decorative accents for walk in closets.
The set consists of two pairs of vintage wooden shoe stretchers, they are a "French" sizes 38 and 39, and a jewellery mannequin on a stand.
The "bust/torso" is made of, vintage, brown paper "papier maché", mounted onto a wooden pole and plinth. It stands 45cms/ 2 ¾" tall and is 11cms/ 4¼" diameter at the base. It is super lightweight, weighing just 450gms/ 1lb. Stylishly understated she would look great draped in pearls! The mannequin has the odd tiny "dint" but nothing serious, she's in great shape.
The shoe stretchers are in great working order and great condition, the bars and hinges all move smoothly and are fully adjustable. Each shoe has three holes on each side to allow the bar to be moved into different positions, varying the shoes length. Made from beech wood, they have a rich patina, from years of genuine use, and a smooth tactile quality. Authentic and charming.
Their overall length, when extended fully, is approx. 26cms / 10 ¼" long.
They are 7cms/ 2 ¾" (at their widest) and a pair weighs 300gms/ 10.5 ozs.
