Bronze Candlestick Table Lamp. Ornate Rococo/Baroque/ Louis XV Style.

An elegant French, bronze candlestick lamp. In full working order. It will add a touch of "Rococo/Baroque" style to any period home.
In excellent vintage condition, the bronze has some signs of natural tarnishing and its patina is darker in some areas than others, giving the look and feel of stylish early 19th century "French Empire" interiors. Sumptuously ornate Acanthus leaf decoration, it terminates in a decorated bronze drip tray, with the original imitation "dripping" candle cover that slides on and off of the stem easily. The candle drips sleeve is in good condition, it has slight signs of aging but this simply adds to the charm and authenticity of the piece.

This light is wired with the original vintage wiring. It is in full working order, the photos show it illuminated, with the bulb lit.

It stands 26cms/ 10¼" tall, from the base to the top of the candle drips (excluding the bulb).
The base is 9.5cms/ 3¾" diameter.
