Glazed creamy white on the inside and cobalt blue on the outside, this beautifully detailed boat dish is in the exact shape of a fishing boat, flat at the back and rising gently at the front, with ridges reminiscent of boat timbers.
It measures 20cms/ 7¾" long x 12cms/ 4¾" wide x 7cms/ 2¾" (at its deepest), and weighs 500gms / 1.1lbs. In amazing condition, with no chips, cracks or scratches. It has a microscopic amount of 'hairline' crackle to the glaze (barely detectable), which is to be expected and consistent with its age, but nothing to detract from its beauty or functionality. It has many years of service yet to offer.
