An Antique Royal Typewriter, Model 10, with glass panels. 1924 model, refurbished and reconditioned, by Regal in 1936. Serial number Y361110624.
This is the ultimate antique library/office décor. An exceptionally nice looking typewriter, with beautiful chrome and glass keys. It has a French, AZERY keyboard with French accent keys.

We think it's the perfect bookshelf/desk accent piece for a 1930s home.

Please take a good look at the photos, to view the condition of this typewriter. We are selling it a decorative object, as we have no experience of cleaning or reconditioning.
It is dusty and has some minor rust spots. The video shows that the carriage moves, although the rubber of the roller is split and loose. The wooden roller itself is undamaged, it is purely the rubber that has degraded over time. Most of the keys strike perfectly, three or four are currently stuck, and there is a "hairline" crack in the glass of the letter "I". The bell "dings" and the keys make that fabulous clicking noise from a "by-gone" era.
We would hope that with time and attention it is perfectly possible that, once cleaned with alcohol and fitted with a new ribbon (the one fitted has dried out) and roller, it would be fully functional, although we cannot offer any advise on this. It is sold as seen, with no guarantees regarding the functionality of all the working parts. Please feel free to ask us for extra photos if you would like more detailed "close-ups" of the parts.

It measures approx. 40cms/ 15¾" long x 40cms/ 15¾" wide x 25cms/ 9¾" tall.
It's an exceptionally large and heavy item, weighing a huge 13.6kgs/ 30lbs! Due to it's size and weight no returns will be accepted on this item, due to the high shipping costs.
