This set of twelve vintage fish plates are the perfect gift for anyone who enjoys fishing or cooking fish dishes. An ideal gift for fish chefs.
The plates are in a square design, softened at the edges. They all have a gold 'gilded' edge pattern trim and measure 22cms (8½")
They each weigh 500gms (1.1 lbs)
They all have the 'Longchamp' France mark on the undersides.
There are six different designs on the twelve plates illustrating various fish swimming amongst reeds and seashells. There are two of each of the six designs.
The colors and details of the illustrations are incredibly accurate and realistic.
They are all in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There are the faintest beginnings of some 'hairline' crackle to the glazes, on a few of the plates, which is to be expected with the age of these plates in and no way detracts from the beauty or quality of this service. They have many years of service yet to offer.
