This is an absolutely wonderful vintage cast iron meat grinder. Dating from the 1920's it was built to last; it is complete and appears to be in perfect working order. Not only is it super functional for grinding meat, for sausages and meatballs, it is also beautiful to display.
Ideal for modern, Industrial settings it has a strong vice clamp that grips solidly to the edge of any worktop, counter, table or desk.
I've styled it with some fresh herbs and flowers, in the photos, to give you an idea of how it might look displayed as a decorative table piece. I've also seen them used as bag hooks and table weights with great effect.
This particular grinder is in fabulous condition, considering it has clearly not been used for a long time. All the component parts will unscrew for ease of cleaning and storage.
It is heavy weighing 2.2kgs/4.8 lbs!
It is 27cms/10 ½" long (with the handle down) 37cms/14½"(with the handle up) x 24cms/9½" wide (including the handle.) The funnel is 9.5cms/3¾" at it's widest.
