They have three widely separated tines, used to hold a hot baked potato, firmly, while the skin is removed. These are quite unusual items and a great 'talking point'. Practically they 'skewer' the potato and stop it slipping whilst you turn it and remove the skin. They are cleverly designed not to split the flesh, as traditional forks do, keeping the potato together firmly. They are great for other vegetables too, such as beetroot.
They are all still perfectly usable, the handles have a gorgeous patina from years of use. Four of them are marked 'Tupperware' on the prongs, one is 'Inox AS, France' branded, indicating their quality.
They all vary in size and shape.
The longest fork is 19cms/7½" long, the shortest 15.5cms/6".
Their 'wear' gives them a superb authenticity and charm. They have many years of life yet to offer.
Perfect for French country and rustic minimalist kitchen decor, and as food photography props.
